77th John O. Moseley Leadership School

From August 6th to the 10th Alex Miller, Blake Hedges, and Demetri Kraniak from the Michigan Epsilon chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon attended the annual leadership school.  The school was hosted on the Royal Caribbean’s Majesty of the Seas cruise ship and included a stop at Nassau in the Bahamas.  More than 700 active members, alumni, staff and faculty attended to learn about new ways to continue to make SAE a great organization.  The leadership school also offers a great opportunity to meet new people from all over the country and catch up with old friends.

The leadership school is designed to develop leadership skills for use in chapters, campus organizations and life after college.  John O. Moseley pioneered the concept of hosting a leadership school open to all undergraduate members with the first school in 1935 when he was Sigma Alpha Epsilon’s national president.  The Sigma Alpha Epsilon leadership school is the longest lasting fraternity hosted leadership school and the only one hosted on a cruise ship.
